-Gregory arrives at an insurmountable mountain.
Gregory: “Hmm I do wonder how I might traverse this rugged terrain”
Mysterious Figure: ”Yes I say, what a truly momentous task. However, it is one for which I myself am fully equipped, for I am the renowned Wizard of Yore. Might I assist you in your plight?”
Gregory: “Yeah go for it bud”
Wizard: “Cloudus Formulatus!”
A cloud forms beneath Gregory and the Wizard of Yore, and lifts them upwards.
Gregory: “Thank you for the assistance, it was most needed. Would you care to join me on my long and arduous journey?”
Wizard: “But of course good lad, of course! it would be my pleasure!”
The two land on the other side of the mountain, and continue across the land as the triumphant The duo soon enter a scorched land full of lava and sharp rocks.
Wizard: “It appears we have arrived in the realm of Carl. Be ever watchful, dangerous forces scour these lands”
Gregory: “I will keep that in mind my friend. You know, over this quest I feel like we have become good pals, wouldn’t you agree?”
Wizard: “Haha that is certainly true indeed lol”
Gregory: “Well we best be going, I don’t like the look of those cacti”
Evil cacti are seen.
Cacti: “We are the cacti”
The two arrive at a large castle. They enter a dark room, and cannot see anything.
Gregory: “Our journey has brought us this far, let us begin our fated duel with Carl.”
Gregory: “Show yourself Carl, we have come to vanquish you!”
Wizard: “That’s right, get over here you freakish bastard!”
Suddenly, a red light shines down on a dark figure. It turns around, and reveals itself to be none other than the Woodland critter from the start of the journey.
Carl: “Haha you fools! I have deceived you all this time, I am the malicious entity Carl! You fell for my tricks, and now you shall perish! None can vanquish meeee!”
Gregory: “But then why did you help me on my quest?”
Carl: “I thought it would be funny!”
Gregory: “Jesus man that’s kind of messed up”
Carl: “No matter, soon you will no longer exist! I will now use my special move!”
Carl screeches, and casts a huge spell. Gregory dodges, and the spell flies out the door of Carl’s Castle. It careens into the land, and hits one of the three cacti, disintegrating it.
Sam: “Oy that god damn Carl’s gone and vaporized Robert. That is simply not acceptable!”
Phil: “You’re right Sam, what an annoying dude. It’s time for the Cactus uprising I’d say!”
Sam: “Indeed my brother, indeed! Rise my brethren, storm the castle!
Several cacti emerge and travel towards the castle, screeching.
Carl: “No, the Cacti are rising as was foretold!”
Wizard: “Aye, Carl’s right, the legend says that only the cacti can retake the land”
Gregory: “Oh that’s pretty cool. Works for me hehe.”
The Cacti rush past the Wizard and Gregory, and surround Carl, taking him away.
Carl: “Noo I cannot be defeated!”
Carl is carried away.
Gregory: “Wow. I guess we’re done then. That was fairly good I’d say, y’know a pretty decent adventure all around.”
Wizard: “Indeed, this glorious tale will doubtless be told for generations to come.”
Gregory: “Yes thank you for your help, kind Wizard. I think I will now return from whence I came, though maybe I will be back at some point who knows.”
Gregory shoots into the sky. Looking back at the land, he sheds a single tear.
